K9 Slug Says Foreign Teams’ Montages Are Psychological Warfare

SUMMARY

K9 Esports players Omega and Slug reacted on their live stream to the influx of clutch montages published by the Korean and Japanese teams ahead of the BMIC 2025. Slug noted the high skill level of the rival teams, emphasizing their “big splits” and potential to wipe entire squads, but concluded that the frequent videos are a psychological tactic intended to pressure Indian teams. Slug warned that this “bluff is now exposed” and Indian teams must focus on preparation to counter the strategic aggression.

INDIA – With the BMIC 2025 right around the corner, the battle for dominance is not only happening in scrims but also on social media. K9 Esports stars Omega and Slug analyzed the aggressive video strategy of the foreign teams and exposed what they believe is a calculated move to gain a mental edge.

The Psychological Warfare

The BGMI community has seen an unusual surge of highlight montages and showcase videos from the Korean and Japanese squads—teams like Dplus, DRX, and REJECT—demonstrating their clinical gunpower and clutch ability.

K9’s Slug confirmed that while the skill on display is real, the relentless marketing of these clips is a calculated psychological tactic:

“These are the psychological things that are being attempeted by the foreign teams to build pressure on Indian Teams but this bluff is now exposed.”

Slug emphasized that Indian teams must not be intimidated by the hype. He acknowledged the genuine threat of the Koreans, pointing out that the “best 3 teams of Korea are in the lobby and they keep big splits” and “can wipe the whole squad single-handedly.”

The Response: Preparation Over Pressure

Slug’s message, fully endorsed by Omega, is a call for calm and focus. Rather than getting caught up in the psychological warfare, the Indian teams must concentrate on countering the highly disciplined “big split” strategies of the foreign teams.

The Indian contingent must utilize the remaining days before the October 31st start date for the BMIC 2025 to prepare their own counter-tactics, proving that mental strength will prevail over the rival teams’ digital bluffs.
